8 Warcraft Tips for
Newbies: What Every WoW Beginner Needs to
Know
If you’re new to WoW, you need some good
tips to help you get started. Here are some helpful
Warcraft tips
that every player needs to know.
1. Take advantage of the fact that you can create
multiple characters. Play around with a few different races
and classes first before settling on a main character. What
type of player would you like to be? Would you like to do
magic and cast spells? Be a mage, paladin, shaman, or
warlock. Do you want to be a sneaky assassin? Be a rogue. Do
you want a pet or companion to help you in battle? Be a
hunter or warlock. Do you want to change forms? Be a druid.
And, of course, there is always the warrior and priest. Be a
warrior if you want to directly attack your enemies,
face-to-face; be a priest if you want to focus more on
healing than killing.
2. Do more questing than grinding. Do the fastest
quests to level up quickly. Get an add-on to help you
navigate through the zones so that you can complete quests
without getting lost. Also, study
Warcraft tips for levelling up your professions.
Your best bet is to choose a couple of gathering professions
early on, and then level them as you go on quests. Your primary
objective is to level up your character, and your secondary
objective is to level up your professions along the way.
3. Learn your way around the game, particularly
capital cities. This is one of the most essential Warcraft
tips. One of the very first things you should do when you’re
over level five is to make your way to the nearest capital
city and locate the auction house and bank. You can set the
compass to track their locations. Other important things you
need to find are your class trainer, profession trainers,
blacksmiths, general goods sellers, regeants sellers (magic
users), etc.
4 . Learn about macros and use them! This is one
of the most useful
World of Warcraft tips you will ever read. You will
be able to perform just about any action with just one
keystroke. You will be able to attack, cast a spell, mount,
dismount, change targets, run automatically, adjust the camera
toggling, etc with just a stroke of a
key!
5. If you don’t like
to play with a lot of other people, be a Horde character on
a less crowded server. Since more than half of WoW players
are Alliance
, Horde
locations on less crowded servers tend to be pretty
empty.
6. Grab as many bags as you can the second you can
afford them! Furthermore, you should upgrade the slots as
soon as you can. The extra slot spaces in larger bags will
pay for themselves. You will be able to store a lot more
loot and carry it back to the auction house or bank. Lacking
sufficient space means you will have to make sacrifices and
delete some items in order to make room for
others.
7. Don’t be afraid to download third party
add-ons. They include
Warcraft tips, coordinates, quest trackers, and so
forth. You will find navigating through the game and questing a
lot easier with the right add-ons. However, make sure you only
install ones that are well known in the WoW community, and not
any illegal bots or potential Trojans.
8.
Here is a tip about common sense: play the game for fun, and
don’t take anything too seriously. Some people become too
addicted to the point where the game is almost like a second
game to them. If you play just for fun, and don’t get upset
over the smallest thing, then you will enjoy the game a lot
more. While you should follow all of these Warcraft tips for
a good gaming experience, never take anything too seriously.
