World of Warcraft System Requirements:
If You Have the Right Requirements, Should You Play on a Private Server?

wow system requirementsWhat are World of Warcraft system requirements? Do I have enough to play on a private server? What is a private server? These are questions that many new WoW players as on a regular basis. They want to know if playing on private servers is legal, and, if so, if they have the right system requirements for playing on such servers.

There are also some ethical questions about playing on private servers. While they are indeed available, some players take advantage of them to get ahead. As long as their World of Warcraft system requirements allow them to stay connected, they will run around, level up, and farm without any competition. Some would consider this to be an unfair advantage. They have access to all the resources and farming locations all to themselves, and don’t have to share with other players.

Obviously, some try to profit from this. Many WoW gold sellers use private servers as a means to farm for resources and items. They also level up more quickly and try to sell the account! Players who don’t like to level up themselves will often buy already levelled characters. In fact, some World of Warcraft characters have sold for thousands of dollars in the past! Needless to say, those with the right World of Warcraft system requirements are often tempted to play on private servers for such reasons.

What are private servers, though? There are basically two types: the illegal and the legal. The former type is set up by gold farmers and hackers, and the latter is set up by the legitimate players who simply want a less-crowded gaming experience. There are literally thousands of private servers available all around the world for players in every country.

The legal private servers are customized in certain ways, such as high rate servers, instance servers, PvP, and so forth. Also, many of them only include access to certain zones, which means the entire game isn’t accessible by the players on private servers.

If you want to try one out, be careful with your choice. As long as you have the right World of Warccraft system requirements, you can do a bit of research online to see what they all have to offer. You can learn information about what each private server is for, how many players are involved in it, the benefits of joining it, and so forth. There are also lists available of the most popular ones. Some are free and some cost money, so if you are new to them, you should start out with a free private server to see how you like the game play.

Also, make sure you play on a private server that is appropriate for your level. As mentioned above, some of them are restricted to certain areas. Not all private servers are perfect, either; since they’re made by players for players, they have a fair share of glitches and flaws. Once again, they’re not for everybody. If you don’t mind experimenting a bit, and  you have the right World of Warcraft system requirements, then you could at least check out some private servers to see if you like them.
