WoW Farming Guide-
Tips for Farming in
Wintergrasp
WoW farming is the best way to
make gold in the game. It’s also the method that gold
sellers use to earn all the gold they sell. Since they can
do it, so can you! You can learn how to farm in a safe way
that won’t get you banned. Other popular ways to make gold
in World of Warcraft include: crafting items and selling
them, buying limited supply items and selling them at
higher prices, and controlling the auction house
system.
This guide will focus on the method of farming for
Elemental Eternal in WotLK. This WoW farming method is for
high level players who need hundreds of gold in the shortest
amount of time possible. As long as you are level 70+, you
should be able to farm some of these items without any
problems.
Elemental Eternals are used in almost every
crafting profession: alchemy, enchanting, leatherworking,
and blacksmithing. You can gather them and sell them to
other players at the auction house or through the trade
channel. There are six types of Elemental Eternals: Fire,
Water, Air, Earth, Life, and Shadow. The prices vary from
server to server, but you should still be able to get at
least 5 gold for Earth, 10 for water and Shadow, and 45+ for
the rest.
One of the best WoW farming spots for high level
players is Wintergrasp. Note: It is a highly competitive and
contested PvP zone, so if you are playing on a PvP server,
be careful! Some of these mobs will only show themselves
when your side is in control of the
area.
-Fire: Eternal Fire
can be found at Wintersgrasp. Look around the
Stormy
Peaks
for some
opportunities to make gold. Look for Wailing Winds just
north of Tunka’lo Village. While you’re at it, look for
Flaming revenants.
Air: Eternal Air can be found on Tempest Revenants
and Whispering Winds. However, be careful if you’re on a PvP
server, since the other faction won’t hesitate to attack
you. Another great place to look is the Howling Hollow,
where you need to find the Scions of Storms.
Shadow: Look for Crystallized Shadow at
Wintersgrasp by killing Shadow Revenants and Wandering
Shadows. The former have a high drop rate, so you should be
able to get plenty of Crystallized Shadows. An alternative
location for WoW farming is around Dragonblight. Just look
for Deathbringer Revenants and grind
away.
Life: Eternal Life can be found on living Lashers.
They have a 30% drop rate, so you shouldn’t have any
problems with farming. Also, check out Zul’drak. The Mossy
Rampagers also have a 30% drop rate, although all the mobs
are packed together. Only farm in this area if you are good
with damage control.
Earth :Since Eternal Earth sells for a lot less at
the auction house than the other Eternals, you may or may
not to spend your time WoW farming for them. If the price
for each is over 5g on your server, then it might be worth
your time. If you want to try it, you can find them in
Wintersgrasp. Target Earthbound
Revenants.
Water: Eternal Water
is pretty easy to get a hold of. You can even fish them if
your fishing skills are at a high level! They are also found
in Cobalt and Titanium mining veins. If you want to gather
Crystallized Water through grinding, go after Glacial
Spirits and Water Revenants. An alternative spot is
Storm
Peaks
, where
you will find some Icebound Revenants. You should easily be
able to kill them without a lot of aggro, and they have a
drop rate of 25%.
If you follow all of these WoW farming tips, you
should be able to gather up a few hundred gold in no time at
all! Additionally, you will get tons of other loot from
killing all the mobs. Just visit Wintergrasp and the other
aforementioned places, and you will be able to farm as much
as you want!
