WoW Farming Solutions: Grinding, Selling at the AH, and Creating an Alt Character   

If you’ve been playing World of Warcraft, you’ve probably realized that your character needs money. In fact, your character needs A LOT of money, just like you do in real life. Having enough gold for your character will ensure success. This is why WoW farming is important. It’s an actual economy driven by currency, including gold, silver, and copper. You obviously need to earn as much gold as possible to get your character through the game.  

Accumulating and saving gold at lower levels is very hard. It’s not unusual to see low level players in the streets of Stormwind or Ogrimmar begging for gold. This annoys other players, especially those who remember how hard they had to work for their gold. Farming is the usual method of earning money in World of Warcraft. It takes some time, but it’s worth it if you know the best places to look. The best places for WoW farming depends on your profession and the items for which you are searching.  

If you choose mining for your profession, you need to know where to find the most veins. If you choose herbalism, you need to know on which topography to find the most profitable plants. If you choose skinning, you need to know where to find a lot of wolves, bears, boars, etc. You can also farm by grinding and looting everything in sight. When grinding, there’s the possibility that some of the enemies will drop rare items when they die. Pay close attention to every item that you loot. If you are unfamiliar with something, search for it at the auction house to see how much it is selling for. No matter how you choose to do it, WoW farming is the best way to make gold.  

Why not choose herbalism, skinning, AND mining? While you’re at it, pick a couple of crafting professions like enchanting and leatherworking. How is this possible when you can only choose two primary professions at once? By creating alternative characters. You can supplement your main character’s income by farming with alt characters. Of course, you will have to create them on the same server and within the same faction so that you can send items back and forth between them. 

Whether you farm with your main character, alt character, or both, you need to learn how to utilize the auction house. Understanding the auction house is another important way to make gold, after WoW farming. Combine the two together and learn how to sell the items you farm. In summary, gold is the currency that all players must have in WoW. And, just like in real life, becoming rich isn’t easy! Lower level players have to work really hard to earn gold, and higher level players had to work their way to being wealthy. One of the best solutions is to create an alt character or two to help your main character obtain more gold through WoW farming and auction house selling.
